CPR is a play on the need for churches, and an acronym. No one can doubt our churches need some resuscitation – CPR. Because of covid19, government has issued mandates that if followed, result in Christ followers from worshipping and following Jesus freely and unhindered. Well-meaning pastors comply with the government citing Rom 13:1 as the basis for their decisions. Believers who dissent are thus “locked out” from participating in their church life. CPR is being started to reestablish Christ’s rightful place of authority in the life of His followers. An alternative and opportunity to worship and serve free and unhindered.

Christ – He is our ultimate authority, and we obey him. We must obey, respect and pray for our civil leaders. We follow Christ’s orders, not men’s.  We obey and respect our government until they overstep their God given authority.

Providential – God truly is in control. He reigns even now, amidst the chaos. Recognizing this, we are to exercise our faith in him without fear, and with love and humility. His sovereign control of all things should spur us to take positive steps to advance His Kingdom and make disciples despite the circumstances and events, difficult as they are.

Reign – Jesus Christ is our King. We submit to him and him alone. His reign should impact every area of our life. We cannot “do church” anymore. We must BE CHURCH. We believe the days of building centric ministry and pulpit driven “discipleship” are waning, and that God is calling his children to rise up and “take back territory” that has been usurped by the world system that has infiltrated even our churches.

Our immediate mission  is to provide a venue for corporate worship for those who can't attend their regular church due to covid restrictions - be it health, conscience, or whatever.

Beyond that we see a window of opportunity opening that will allow us to view church and ministry from a different perspective. This will  have us moving beyond the limiting barriers of church buildings and programs to a more relational "street gospel" that has lives impacted at every level.
